Squirrels, raccoons, and other guests often empty and damage bird feeders. They also chase desired birds away to keep the food for themselves. Larger birds, such as white wing doves and blackbirds, can be hungry and aggressive at feeders. Bees, wasps, and ants can take the joy from feeding hummingbirds. This presentation will discuss feeder placement, specialized bird feeders, and specialty bird food that are designed to discourage these unwanted friends from visiting our feeders.
